This lovely Scalextric C143 BMW 3.0 CSL model is complete.
Every one of the 11 races in the 1977 European Touring Car Championship was won by a BMW CSL against competition from XJ 5.3C Jaguars. As in the real racing world, this BMW is an ideal car to race against a Porsche 935 as both models have similar handling characteristics.
Thoroughly cleaned and serviced this Scalextric C143 BMW 3.0 CSL model is fitted with new pick up braids and rear tyres. The BMW has been track tested and runs extremely well with quiet smooth motor and gears. This example is in lovely condition with all the parts present and correct. The gold paint is worn in a few places, on edges and on the bonnet edge, see picture. The factory applied decals are in excellent condition. The tyres are in good condition with no cracks or other damage.
This wonderful Scalextric C143 BMW 3.0 CSL car is a must for any serious collector as it was only available in the Flying Leap set, 1985 and 1986. This car is ready to display or race and would add value to your collection.
