Scalextric C2416 McLaren Mercedes MP4-16 Kimi

This Scalextric McLaren Mercedes MP4-16 model was raced by Kimi Räikkönen in the 2002 F1 season

 

During the 2002 F1 season Kimi Räikkönen raced for McLaren Mercedes with the MP4-17 car wearing number 4. This Scalextric model faithfully reproduces this car, however, Scalextric labeled the car as MP4-16 rather than the actual MP4-17 that Kimi Räikkönen raced in 2002.

This Scalextric C2416 McLaren Mercedes MP4-16 model is nearly new having covered only a few test laps. It is complete with all parts present and correct, including the camera and brake light lens which often go missing on these cars.

The McLaren Mercedes MP4-16 is fitted with new pick up braids. It has been statically tested and runs extremely well with quiet smooth motor and gears. The window and interior mouldings are complete and have no cracks or other damage, the driver is fitted. The body has no scratches or other marks and the factory applied decals are in perfect condition. The neodymium magnatraction magnet is fitted. The tyres are in good, grippy condition.

The box is in great condition with only a minor crack in one corner. Both spare pick up guides are present.

This Scalextric C2416 McLaren Mercedes MP4-16 model is in wonderful condition and would add significant value to any collection.
